Canberra Union Voices.

Songs of struggle & solidarity.

We're a mixed choir, (SATB), and you don't have to audition to join.  Anyone is welcome.
We're a fun group, heavily Trade Union oriented (the name might be a bit of a giveaway) and we tend to sing a mixture of "Union" songs, assorted traditional folk music, some African stuff for variety... in fact, anything that sounds good.
It's made up of  a group of bright, friendly people, and we could always use new voices. (Especially Tenors!) (And Sopranos!)
And if you aren't particularly political.... well, neither am I.

We rehearse  every Thursday evening 7:30 - 9:30:

Trades & Labour Council Offices
17 Woolley St Dickson
Contact:  Michelle 0416 260 736, or (02) 6216 5356

(Which, this being the Internet, is in Canberra, Australia)

Cost is $60 per term, as we are mostly self funding. (But you're welcome to try before you buy...)
